When I think of Taipei, the art of ‘Kintsugi’; the art of repairing broken ceramics with gold lacquer, comes to mind. A city in a country that has had to put itself back together countless times that it has become something entirely unique on to itself and a people that have both a zeal for life and an almost severe sense of practicality to them. It is a beautiful place that will always make you feel invited no matter where you go, and I can’t wait to go back.
